*MANILA, Philippines 

    A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed in Makati Monday night by an unidentified police officer. Reports said the victim Christian Serrano and 2 others were collecting scrap metal at an abandoned building in Kamagong St. when a police mobile from Makati arrived on the scene.

Witnesses said the cops initially fired a warning shot to scare the teens away, but then a second shot was fired, hitting the victim in the back.

   The victim was rushed to Ospital ng Makati but was declared dead on arrival. Several other witnesses spotted the plate number of the police mobile and are willing to testify. Christian’s mother, Salvacion expressed her disappointment towards the police officer who shot her son.

   “Andami pang pangarap ng anak ko. Bakit nila ginanon,” she said.

   Christian reportedly had aspirations of being a police officer. Investigations are ongoing to identify the gunman.
